In contrast, California is one of the premier wine regions in the world. It is responsible for producing over 90% of all US wines. The California wine region spans from Northern California down to the southern areas of Temecula, bordering San Diego. Many of the wineries boast a rich history of wine growing and over 130 years in the winery business. Spanish missionaries planted the first grapes in California in 1760, with the first commercial wines selling in the 1840’s. During this era, California wineries won gold medals at the Paris Exposition bringing California international recognition for its quality wines.

With the understanding that, “great wines can only come from great sites”, California Select Wines was created specifically as an exporting sales and marketing company. All wines are produced in California with numerous quality brands and varietals including Cabernet Sauvignons, Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays to the lesser known Moscato wines.
